Bridge Courses
Bridge may take a lifetime to master but you can learn the basics quickly.
Playing the game is the enjoyable part, but you need to learn the theory behind the game in order to play properly. Such as, knowing what to bid, which card to play first, what other people really mean when they bid and so on. The best way to learn and develop your game is to practise regularly with other people in an environment where you can ask questions whilst you play.
Our Bridge courses have been designed to be fun, friendly and relaxed.
They combine a mixture of theory and play, so you can start enjoying playing the game from an early stage with people at a similar level to you.
We keep our class sizes small so you get the benefit of individual tuition. And there is ample opportunity to have your questions answered personally.
Bridge Lessons at Learn to Play Bridge
We have lots of Bridge courses.
- Beginners Bridge: this is the course for you if you are completely new to the game. During this 12 week course I teach you enough to get you started playing Bridge at a basic level. The course includes lots of time to play and analyse the game. The next Beginners Course is a daytime face to face course run with AGE UK in Finchley starting Tuesday 19th September. It is targeted at those aged 55+. The next Beginners evening course will be starting on Thursday evening starting in January.
- Bridge for Novices & Intermediates: Various levels of bridge aimed at those players who already have some knowledge of Bridge and understand the basics of the game but are looking to develop their play and take the game to the next level. Supervised Bridge Playing sessions for Novice players take place Monday and Thursday evenings. This gives you an opportunity to improve your game and have fun.
